Walk with us - everyone welcome! Our team of volunteer walk leaders will introduce you to parts of Longshaw you may not know. Walks are every Wednesday and Sunday, starting just outside the café, and usually cover around 4 miles.

Discover Longshaw and meet new people on these twice-weekly drop in walks at Longshaw. Discover beautiful and varied scenery, from Padley Gorge to Burbage Moor, and take in the seasons with some special insights from our volunteer walk leaders. The routes vary. These are free, drop-in walks, and donations to our Peak District Appeal and to help look after Longshaw are welcome.

The basics

Suitability
Children are welcome with their adults.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
Meeting point
Meet outside the café, approx. 300m from the car park.
What to bring and wear
Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather, including waterproofs and sun protection. Bring any snacks and drinks you may want along the way.
Accessibility
The walks cover some steep and uneven ground.
