Spend an afternoon with Alice and learn how to create beautiful brush lettering with a paintbrush and ink.

This is an introductory workshop to the art of brush lettering. With all materials (and tea and cake) provided you will learn the basis of writing with a paintbrush and ink. We will learn the techniques for using the brush to create a range of shapes and lines, moving onto the alphabet and words of your choice and phrases you like.

What is Gift Aid?

Most of our places run the Gift Aid on Entry scheme at their admission points.

Under this scheme, if you're not a member you have the choice of two entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid Admission
  • Standard Admission

If the place runs Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a clear choice between the Gift Aid Admission prices and the Standard Admission prices at the admission point. It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent - potentially a very significant boost to our places' funds.

An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to the National Trust as shown below:

Dudmaston Hall

Car parking at Dudmaston Hall is free for all. Admissions apply to enter the property, free entry for National Trust members, children under 5 and Artfund National Art Pass holders.

Wider estate car parks

National Trust members can park for free in Comer Woods and Hampton Loade. Please scan your membership card in the machine to receive your free ticket. The property receives funding every time you scan your card. Thanks for helping us continue our conservation and access work across the estate. Parking charges in Comer Woods and Hampton Loade apply for non members. All day £3 or £1.50 for 90 minutes.
