Wire drawing

Join artist Helaina Sharpley for an introduction to her wonderful wire world and create your own wall piece inspired by the collections at Nostell.

  • Booking essential

Helaina draws out her designs and brings them to life by twisting and sculpting wire to create striking wirework illustrations. In this full day workshop, you'll learn about the tools and techniques she uses and then design and make you own your wirework masterpiece, taking inspiration from the shapes you can see in Nostell's architecture and collections. From creating your line drawing template to working with a range of wires, you'll finish up with a complete artwork mounted on a canvas.
