Art Class with Aspire Sussex: Drawing and Painting the Landscape

Using the breath-taking views out across the South Downs here at Hinton Ampner, develop your drawing and painting skills in a medium of your choice under expert tuition.

All levels of experience are welcome with the tutor providing tailored support appropriate to your level.

The course will include techniques on planning composition, colours and tones to create far, middle and near distance and soft and sharp focus for different distances as well as perspective.

Whether this is your first experience in exploring your artistic abilities, or you are a seasoned artist looking to push the depths of your skills, you will be spoilt for subject choice with the landscape at Hinton Ampner as your inspiration.

Students can select their preferred medium, so please bring your choice of watercolour or acrylic paint, brushes, water container, mixing palette and paper or coloured pencils or pastels and suitable paper.
