Willow frame baskets workshop

Did you know that the Romans introduced "stake and strand" basket weaving? While continuing as a living tradition, basket weaving has undergone a revival of interest among craftspeople, leading to new forms of expression.

Richard Kerwood of Windrush Willow will lead a one-day workshop making simple frame baskets, weaving from both ends to the middle of the baskets. Richard will also demonstrate the art of ring making.

£55 per person, with all materials, tools and a light lunch provided.
