The Beaconsfield Centre was founded in 1971 and at present has a vibrant membership drawn from Beaconsfield and the surrounding area.

Our aim is to promote and support the work of the Trust, by creating a welcoming and sociable group of like-minded people.

The Beaconsfield Centre always welcomes new members.  If you are already a member of the National Trust, or a National Trust Volunteer Card holder, we hope that you will wish to join our group. The annual subscription is £10 per person or £15 for two people living at the same address.  Our membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. New members are welcome to join at any time.

Throughout the year, we enjoy a programme of day trips to National Trust properties and other interesting venues, plus a medley of events which are well supported and greatly valued by our members.  By participating in these events, you will be helping us to raise valuable funds for the National Trust, whilst at the same time having fun.  On average, we raise around £6,000 each year to support our local (and other) National Trust properties such as:

Our various activities include:

  • Monthly afternoon talks during the Winter months
  • Monthly day outings (except in January)
  • A five day holiday in the UK or Europe
  • Classical concerts
  • Theatre trips
  • A summer coffee morning
  • Christmas lunch

We publish a newsletter in February, May, August and November, which keeps everyone up to date with full details of all the events, complete with booking forms.
