Blackmore Vale and Yeovil Association

The Temple of Apollo reflected in the lake at Stourhead, Wiltshire, in May.

The Association was founded in 1978 and currently has some 425 members in an area between Crewkerne and Shaftesbury, and Castle Cary and Sturminster Newton.

Membership is open to anyone who is interested in supporting our work, you do not have to be a member of the National Trust.

The local National Trust properties usually supported are Lytes Cary Manor, Montacute House, Stourhead, and Tintinhull House Garden. The Association responds to requests from these properties for financial support to fund projects.

In the winter lectures take place on a monthly basis, while in the summer day visits are arranged to places of interest.  Lunches and teas as well as short holidays also feature in our programme.

Please visit the association's website at www.BVYNTassoc.wordpress.com for details of our current programme.

The Association exisits to support the National Trust and to ensure members have an enjoyable time while doing so!
