Blackmore Vale and Yeovil Association

The Temple of Apollo reflected in the lake at Stourhead, Wiltshire, in May.

Founded in 1978, the Blackmore Vale and Yeovil Association's members live in the area between Shaftesbury, South Petherton, Castle Cary and Cerne Abbas.

Members of the National Trust, affiliated organisations or holders of current National Trust Volunteer Cards are most welcome to join the Association.

The local National Trust properties usually supported are Lytes Cary Manor, Montacute House, Stourhead and Tintinhull House Gardens. The association responds to requests from these properties for financial support to fund projects.

In the winter, lectures take place on a monthly basis, while day visits are arranged during the summer to places of interest. Lunches and teas, as well as short holidays, also feature in our programme.

The association exists to support the National Trust and to ensure members have an enjoyable time while doing so.
