Christmas craft workshops

Attingham Park, Shropshire

Add a touch of homemade charm to your Christmas when you learn how to create colourful decorations and memorable gifts. Come along to a Christmas craft workshop and enjoy the festive surroundings of the places we look after.

There are lots of Christmas craft workshops happening at National Trust places for you to join in with. Learn a new skill at Tyntesfield near Bristol, where you can get stuck into some lino printing led by a local artist to add homemade charm to your Christmas cards.

Celebrate Diwali at Avebury in Wiltshire, where there will be a clay light holder activity workshop for the whole family. And if you're looking for a Christmas wreath making workshop, The Argory in County Armagh – as well as lots of other places – will be hosting sessions where you can learn how to create festive wreaths.

As well as being a fun day out for all the family, by getting crafty this Christmas you’ll be helping us look after houses and gardens – every visit supports our work in caring for these special places.

More Christmas events are being added all the time so keep checking back to see what's on.

Latest visiting update

Our gardens, parks, cafés, shops, countryside locations and many houses are open. You no longer need to pre-book at many places. Some still require booking ahead, so please check the property webpage before you travel.
