Step into a world of festive delights at one of our Christmas markets during November and December. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the season in inspiring surroundings and find unique and high quality gifts for family and friends.

You’ll find handmade and vintage items, locally-sourced food, a variety of arts and crafts products and beautiful decorations for your home.

As well as being a great day out for all the family and a perfect antidote to the stresses of the high street, by coming along to one of our Christmas markets you’ll also be helping us to carry on looking after special places for everyone to enjoy.

Gibside, Tyne & Wear

Gibside Festive Market, 3 & 17 December, 10am – 3pm 

Pick up the perfect Christmas gift at Gibside’s festive markets this December. Explore a variety of local stalls selling beautiful crafts and seasonal food. Then take a stroll around Gibside’s landscape garden and pop to the pub for a mulled wine.

Llanerchaeron Christmas Fair, 3 – 4 December, 11am – 4pm  

The Llanerchaeron Christmas Fair is back and it’s bigger and better than ever before. Enjoy a great day’s shopping with over 70 local food and craft stalls. There'll be mince pies, mulled wine and a special visit from Father Christmas.

Head down to Lydford Gorge for another spectacular winter fayre. Find local produce and unique gifts as well as Dartmoor Christmas trees, mistletoe, holly and garlands. With a Christmas trail and craft activities for kids, it'll be a festive day for the whole family.

With over 60 stalls full of varied festive treats, handmade gifts and local produce, the Plas Newydd fair is not to be missed. Grab some last-minute gifts or just get into the festive spirit in a magical Christmas setting.

Find a unique present for that special someone at Stourhead's Christmas Craft Fair. Browse beautiful hand-made jewellery, ceramics and original art. Then discover Stourhead's magnificent garden set around a huge lake, scattered with gothic and classical buildings.

Festive Food and Craft Market, 3 & 4 December, 10am – 3pm 

Enjoy the atmosphere of the Christmas food and craft market at Tyntesfield’s Home Farm. There’ll be fine cheeses and fresh bread as well as beautiful handmade crafts for the stockings. Pick up a mulled wine and a mince pie and enjoy the Christmassy entertainment.

Victory Christmas Fayre, 3 – 4 December, 11am – 4pm  

Join the wartime-themed festive fayre at Upton House and Gardens. Local stallholders will be offering handmade gifts, beautiful crafts and tasty food and drink. See the house decorated for Christmas using handmade crafts and warm up with ‘rations’ served in the restaurant.
