Step into a world of festive delights at one of our Christmas markets during November and December. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the season in inspiring surroundings and find unique, high-quality gifts for family and friends.

You’ll find handmade and vintage items, locally-sourced food, a variety of arts and crafts products and beautiful decorations for your home.

As well as being a great day out for all the family and a perfect antidote to the stresses of the high street, by coming along to one of our Christmas markets you’ll also be helping us to carry on looking after special places for everyone to enjoy.

Buckland Abbey on a snowy day

Buckland Abbey, Devon 

Craft & Food Fair, 11 & 12 Nov, 10am - 4.30pm

Discover the ideal gift this Christmas as over 40 stalls of the finest food, drink and crafts arrive at Buckland. From glass jewellery to home-made fudge, there are plenty of local delights to tempt you along with hot food, warming drinks and music to get you in the festive spirit. If you fancy a few moments' peace, treat yourself to a wander around the gardens and estate, and admire the views across the Tavy Valley.

Dinefwr, Carmarthenshire 

Traditional Christmas Fair, 25 & 26 Nov, 10am – 6pm

Looking for a truly festive atmosphere? Head to the beautiful National Trust mansion of Dinefwr, where the courtyard will be brimming with stalls offering tasty seasonal treats and handmade gifts. Hear festive choirs and bands whilst sipping on a free glass of mulled wine, or pay a visit to Santa and Mrs Claus in their grotto. There'll also be storytelling and family craft activities on offer, so everyone can join in with the celebrations.

East Riddlesden Hall, West Yorkshire  

Christmas Market, 16 & 17 December, 3.30 – 7pm

With sparkling fairy lights, the romantic Airedale Barn at East Riddlesden Hall makes the perfect setting for a Christmas market. There’ll be a great choice of gifts to buy, food and drink to sample and festive cheer in abundance. What’s more, every penny you spend here will help the National Trust to care for special places like East Riddlesden for years to come.

Hanbury Hall Worcestershire 

Handmade & Artisan Fayre, 4-5 & 11-12 Nov, 10am - 4pm

Escape the high street this Christmas, and instead pick up your festive shopping at the Hanbury Hall Fayre. Browse beautiful stalls from local artisan producers, and find one-off gifts and indulgent treats. There will also be live music, food and drink to get you in the festive mood.

Mini Christmas market, 2 & 3 Dec

Ightham Mote hosts a selection of Christmas stalls, music and children’s craft activities this year to celebrate the festive season. Make sure to stop by the Victorian Farmyard for a bag of roasted chestnuts and a chance to say hello to Father Christmas.

The Llanerchaeron Christmas Fair is back and it’s bigger and better than ever before. Soak up the magic of the festive season and enjoy a great day’s shopping with over 70 local food and craft stalls. With mince pies, mulled wine and a special visit from Father Christmas it’s sure to get you in the festive spirit.

Soak up the festive atmosphere of Rowallane’s annual Yuletide Market. With local craft and food stalls, family festive activities and wreaths made by the Rowallane gardening team, it’s the perfect place to get into the Christmas spirit. You might even bump into Santa.

Stowe, Buckinghamshire  

Christmas shopping season, 13 Nov – 17 Dec

A select group of stallholders will be back at Stowe this year to present their homemade and traditional products for sale. They’ll be in the historic Parlour Rooms at New Inn, a former coaching inn on the estate. There’ll be music, carol singers and warming drinks every weekend – the perfect start to the festive season.

Christmas Craft Fair, 18 & 19 Nov

Wimpole's festive season kicks off with an enticing Christmas Craft Fair. Find unique and unusual presents, from handicrafts to food and tasty tipples. When you’re all shopped out you can head for the Stable Block café to enjoy mulled wine and tasty mince pies.
