Exeter NTV Group

Volunteer collecting fallen apples in the orchards at Killerton, Devon

The Exeter National Trust Volunteer Group was founded in 1982 and draws its membership from in and around the Exeter area.

What we do

The properties we visit include Killerton House, Castle Drogo, A La Ronde, Knightshayes Court, Compton Castle, Bradley Manor and Lydford Gorge.

We hold our twice monthly work events on Sundays, with an occasional evening task during the summer when we help with stewarding and car parking for events at Killerton House.

The tasks we do encompass all abilities and include footpath construction, working in the gardens, step building, dry stone walling, hedgelaying, cider making (and apple picking), as well as the general maintenance tasks that are required in many of the properties.

New members are always welcome.
