Farming with Nature winners: Conygree Farm

Mel and Jonty Brunyee with two sheep in a meadow

Over the past 12 years, Mel and Jonty Brunyee have established a successful, environmentally led farming business, producing traditional Hereford cattle and rare-breed Cotswold sheep.

The couple have successfully reverted 100 acres of former arable land to rich grassland and created field margins around their arable fields with a variety of nectar-rich plants to attract birds and pollinators. They continue to show a true commitment to managing and restoring habitats, demonstrating best practice with soil and water and promoting farming and nature conservation.
