Hastings and St Leonards Association

The house seen from the Disraeli Monument at Hughenden, Buckinghamshire.

The Hastings and St Leonards Association is a group of National Trust members and National Trust volunteers, formed in 1982. We come together to promote the work of the Trust, to provide lectures and a broad range of recreational and educational activities connected with the work of the Trust and of a general, local or historical interest.

Our Association is a friendly social group with membership open to all members of the National Trust and National Trust volunteers. Our objectives are to provide interesting and enjoyable activities and events for our members whilst raising funds for the support of the National Trust.

Membership fees are £5 per annum for individual members or £8 for two members at the same address running from 1st October to 30th September and we organise Outings, Talks, Coffee mornings, lunches, Theatre trips, Holidays and Quizzes.

Coffee mornings and talks are spread throughout the year but we generally arrange outings during the summer months, usually with an early(ish) start to make the return at a reasonable time, and theatre trips on the dark evenings. We have pick up and drop off points at Ore, Old Town, Sea Front, St Leonards, Battle, Bexhill and Little Common.

As a member you will receive full details of our programme through our twice yearly magazine which also includes reports of the previous events and articles of general interest.

We hope you will would like join us and for full details and an application form please contact our membership secretary Mrs J Parr on 01424 752935
