The Isle of Wight National Trust Association was founded in 1977 and flourishes to this day with well over 200 members.

Our aim is to bring together a group of like-minded people to enjoy interesting events in a friendly social atmosphere.  We support local National Trust activities both practically and financially.

Members receive a bi-annual newsletter which includes an impressive programme of events for the forthcoming season and interesting articles.

In winter we are treated to inspiring talks on a wide range of topics, an informal Christmas Buffet and a delicious Members' Lunch. Our talks take place at the Riverside Centre, Newport and are mostly held in the.afternoon.

In summer we arrange day outings by coach to the mainland visiting National Trust special places and organise a popular five day holiday to a base from where we visit private and National Trust buildings and gardens.

We come together for a delightful annual Strawberry Tea in the garden of one of the many local manor houses and enjoy walks arranged through the beautiful countryside of the Island.

We welcome anyone who supports the activities and values of the National Trust.

Unfortunately all activities of the Isle of Wight National Trust Association are suspended for the duration of the Coronavirus emergency.
