Newton Abbot Association

SW Newton Abbot Association Bradley Manor

The Newton Abbot Association was started in 1983 and has a very active membership of 165 members.

We are a local Association providing support to the National Trust by raising money for conservation and development projects

Our usual programme consists of:

•    Illustrated talks by guest speakers, from September until March, on a wide variety of topics.
•    Day trips during the summer, by coach, with pick-ups around Newton Abbot, Ipplepen and Bovey Tracey.  Visiting historic sites, houses, gardens of interest and National Trust properties.
•    Opportunities to meet on a social basis such as an early New Year lunch, a summer Cream Tea, an annual dinner and a pre-Christmas social.
•    During the year we hope to arrange a short UK holiday, again by coach travel.

What's on?

Due to government advice, we have postponed our events programme. We will update this section in due course.

You do not need to be a member of the National Trust to join our Association, although we thoroughly recommend it. Trust membership includes admission to all of their properties. We send out an informative quarterly newsletter with booking forms for events and trips. To cover postage/printing we currently have a membership fee of only £8 per annum.
