Southend-on-Sea and District Centre

The Southend-on-Sea and District Centre was founded in 1959 and our members reside in the area of Southend and the surrounding Essex towns and villages.

Our objectives are to promote the National Trust locally, raise funds in its support, and provide a programme of events and activities to enrich National Trust membership and the understanding of its work.

Membership is open to all National Trust members, volunteers and members of affiliated organisations.

Our programme of events runs throughout the year and includes a lecture series which allows the opportunity for members to socialise with like-minded people.
