We're always happy for new people to join our team of volunteers who help keep the barn open and make sure our events run smoothly.

Volunteer at the Barn

There are a number of ways in which you can help out at the Barn.

Help out at the barn as a 'handy person'

There's loads to do here - give us a day a week and help with jobs like mowing the lawn and keeping everything looking good. There's scope to be creative too if you feel up to the challenge!

Behind-the-scenes volunteering

There's always lots to do in the office - from answering enquiries to helping with the accounts. If that sounds like your cup of tea, drop us a line and maybe we can help you out - you'd certainly be helping us!

Help to look after our bees

We have bees at the barn and could do with a hand looking after them. Do you know your way around a hive? Can you help out with inspections and use your knowledge to teach others? If so please give us a call!

Welcoming visitors

Our visitor welcome volunteers help visitors enjoy and learn more about the Barn. You'll so playing a key role in making visits inspiring experiences if you volunteer in this role.

Events volunteers

Get involved in everything from planning and preparation, to setting up and running activities on the day. It's about offering something fun and memorable for our visitors, so they visit time and again.
