Garden at Greyfriars

Grab your autumn coat and spend some time in the garden at Greyfriars, where you’ll witness dramatic seasonal colour in the heart of Worcester City Centre.

At this time of year, we harvest the fruits of our labour with an abundance of pears, figs and quince grown in the garden. As the seasons change and summer fades, see the robinia tree glow gold with autumn foliage; deep reds, vibrant oranges and golden browns. Bid farewell to the summer flowers until next year and see the last of the bright yellow begonia as they undergo their final flourish before the pots are wrapped for winter.

Catch the falling leaves as they float and drift across the lawn, or find a place to sit and let the garden provide a respite from the busy scenes playing out on the opposite side of the city wall.
