About Ilam Bunkhouse

Ilam Bunkhouse is a large, 16-person property surrounded by countryside. With epic limestone hills, winding rivers and ancient woodland, this remote holiday accommodation is ideally placed for active groups looking to explore the Peak District.

There’s no better way to discover this stunning area than on foot. With so many walking routes in the area there are lots to choose from but you must try the stepping stones. This popular route through the Dovedale Valley is just a 20-minute stroll from Ilam.

Further afield, discover some of Derbyshire’s most famous towns and villages. The spa town of Buxton is one of England’s most popular and, interestingly, at 300 metres above sea level, the highest market town in the country. Enjoy a fabulous day out exploring the town’s historic buildings and numerous cafés, pubs and restaurants.
