About Butler's ApartmentThis 18th-century apartment sits in the laundry yard in the south wing of Florence Court.
Butler’s Apartment served as living quarters for the male servants at Florence Court, the 18th-century mansion next door to the holiday home. This atmospheric first floor apartment overlooks the laundry courtyard and adjoining woodland garden. Inside, you’ll find many historical quirks such as the period fireplaces, large sash windows and wooden floorboards.
Wake up early and explore Florence Court before any other visitors arrive. Later, discover the forests and hills at the foot of Benaughlin, right on your doorstep.
Head 5 miles from the cottage and you’ll reach the Culicagh Mountains. Follow one of the many walking routes before traipsing up the newly installed boardwalk to the 666 metre high summit.
