Bodrugan, and neighbouring Edgcumbe (sleeps four), are traditional stone barns on the edge of the old farming hamlet of Penare, now converted into spacious and comfortable accommodation. The cottage has a sitting room on the first floor making the most of the views over the countryside and farmland, and an enclosed garden.

A must see is Dodman Point, the highest point in South Cornwall, a haven for walkers, bird-watchers and budding archaeologists alike, you can walk here from the cottage and take in the spectacular views.  Also close by are Vault and Hemmick, both spots are perfect for lazy beach day. Take a trip to Gorran Haven and explore the unspoilt fishing village nestling around a cluster of fisherman cottages and a secluded cove.

Visit nearby Trerice, Trellissick Gardens and Lanhydrock and explore the places in our care. Or, if walking is more your thing, join up with the South West Coast Path for some of the best rambling in the country.
