Nestling in the walls of the former entrance gates to Lodge Park is this two-bedroom cottage. Set just in front of the estate’s striking grandstand, Deer Park Lodge benefits from sweeping views over surrounding countryside and a large enclosed garden. Inside, it’s a traditional affair with latticed windows and elegant furnishings. Being single-storey, the cottage is easily accessible to all. There’s even room for two dogs too.

On your doorstep, wildlife and wonderful views unfold. There are many walking trails near the village of Sherborne, about 1.5 miles away, which take you through the Sherborne Park Estate. The estate's water meadows are home to otters, water voles, dragonflies and rare wetland birds – from kingfishers to the occasional osprey. On weekends from March to September, you can also access the house and grounds of Lodge Park.

Deer Park Lodge is the ideal base for discovering the Cotswolds with quintessentially English villages Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the Water less than a 20 minute drive from here. Also not to be missed is one of the most iconic streets in the UK, Arlington Row in Bibury, just a 10 minute drive away.
