About Glen House

Escape to a tidal island steeped in 16th-century history and stay in this mid-terraced cottage. Your pilgrimage to Holy Island will see you crossing the Northumberland coast by a narrow causeway that gradually gets washed away by the North Sea.

Glen House is perfectly situated on the island’s main street, just half a mile away from the striking, Lindisfarne Castle. It’s part of our basic collection – perfect for those after simple, hassle-free accommodation, so they can spend more time exploring the surrounding area.

From here you’ll be within walking distance to the harbour, the crag-top castle and the coast. Holy Island is also renowned for its abundance of wildlife with rare seabirds and seals gracing the coastline.
