    This surprisingly spacious cottage takes its name from Granny Whetter, the matriarch of a local farming family. Granny's is a semi detached cottage and is situated in the quiet hamlet of Penare. The extensive bedroom occupies the whole of the first floor, while downstairs, a multi fuel stove makes it particularly cosy. 

    Book your break during winter and the thick stone walls of Granny’s Cottage will keep you snug despite the elements, while a summer stay allows you to make the most of its beautiful garden. Enjoy a walk from the cottage along the footpath to Dodman Point, whatever the weather. 

    The nearby fishing village of Gorran Haven is a must see, with its collection of small cottages and secluded cove. And explorers young and old will be pleased to know that the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a short drive from the cottage.

There are three holiday cottages in Penare – neighbouring Bodrugan and Edgcumbe, with Granny's a short walk away – and Hemmick Cottage is about half a mile away by the beach. Groups of up to 13 can book multiple cottages together.
