About High Lidmoor Farmhouse

High Lidmoor is an 18th-century farmhouse that still retains much of its original character. Low beamed ceilings, barn doors and slate floors add to its rustic charm. The perfect, isolated holiday retreat, the cottage is surrounded by open moorland yet varied holiday facilities are only a short drive away.

Step out of the cottage into a magical landscape, best explored on foot. Ramble along Bransdale soaking up outstanding views down the valley.

Further afield, the Yorkshire coast is just a short drive away. Explore Whitby, 38 miles from the cottage, with its ruined gothic abbey, ghoulish connection with Dracula and outstanding fish and chip shops.
