Stay in this charming 17th-century thatched cottage where country rustic meets contemporary luxury. Its low beamed ceilings and large bricked fireplace have been preserved, while modern furnishings have been added to create an inviting holiday cottage with hints of luxury. It started life as three separate homes and now makes up one, three-bedroom holiday cottage with room for six people and one dog.
Within easy reach of Calke Abbey and conveniently located close to East Midlands Airport, you can take advantage of the cottage's unique position and explore this beautiful building before the other visitors arrive.
The nearby Georgian market town of Melbourne is less than a 10 minute drive from the cottage. Here you’ll find a wealth of tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. For walks in the Peak District, you can reach the southern end in less than an hour’s drive.

There is a large garden to the rear of the cottage, complete with table and chairs.
Please note: There is an induction hob at this cottage. Guests with pacemakers are advised to check with their doctor to ensure there will be no interference with their pacemaker. Guests with pacemakers are also advised to keep a distance of at least 60cm (2ft) from the hob when cooking.
