Longmeadow is one of three adjoining thatched cottages housed in what was once a single farmhouse. A classic example of traditional Devon building techniques, Longmeadow boasts open-beamed ceilings, an inglenook fireplace and latticed windows.
Spend your morning exploring the cottage’s large garden before heading over to the local inn at Broadclyst. At Longmeadow, some of East Devon’s prettiest countryside strolls are on your doorstep.
The cottage sits on the edge of the Killerton estate, and a visit to its stunning Georgian house, garden, play areas and extensive parkland is a must. Your holiday directly contributes to the upkeep of the estate and others like it, and during your stay you'll have free entry to all National Trust properties during opening hours (booking may be required). Also close by, the wilds of Dartmoor Beckon. Ramble across this starkly beautiful landscape, taking in waterfalls and rock formations.
Longmeadow Cottage is next door to Broad Ley Cottage and Mattress Cottage, and they can be booked together for larger groups holidaying together.
