About Pitt

A traditional slate and stone barn conversion with views for miles.

If countryside views and coastal walks are at the top of your holiday criteria, Pitt is the perfect place to stay. Part of an old stone and slate farm building, with adjoining cottage Fortescue, Pitt’s restoration offers a comfortable holiday stay with lots of garden space for summer activities. There’s a stone barbeque and picnic table outside too, helping you make the most of the far-reaching views.

You’ll be in the heart of the old farming settlement of Triggabrowne adjoining Fortescue cottage with Dairy Cottage, The Farm House and Tippett's nearby. Just a short walk away are the semi-detached Meadow Cottage and Triggabrowne Cottage. A walk along the headland will lead you to one of Cornwall’s most idyllic beaches, Lantic Bay, with its white sands and aquamarine waters.

If you venture east along the South West Coast Path, you’ll find yourself in the white-washed fishing village of Polperro. Elsewhere the harbour town of Fowey is just a short drive and ferry ride away.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
