About The Lodge at Parke
A homely bolthole for two with the wilds of Dartmoor on its doorstep.A gateway to Dartmoor, this compact but cosy one-bedroom cottage sits on the eastern border of the National Park. Find a modern space inside where you can curl up by the log-burner or dine al fresco in its enclosed garden.
It was once the entrance lodge to the Parke estate located just outside the lively market town of Bovey Tracey. Take a short stroll around the estate’s garden, or a longer more strenuous walk through the woodlands and along the river to the medieval weir.
The Lodge is ideally placed for those who want to explore Devon’s national park and coast. The pretty seaside towns of Paignton, Brixham and Torquay can be reached within a 40-minute drive.
