About The Old School House
A little cottage packed with original features and distant views out to sea.Once a Victorian dame school, now a holiday cottage with impressive original features. This romantic getaway in the heart of Bohortha has a large entrance porch, tall ceilings and a striking Regency Gothic window that overlooks fields and out towards the sea. Playtime can be had in its private garden or the coast, which is within walking distance.
From here you can loop onto the South West Coast Path and explore the cliffs, creeks, estuaries, headlands, woods and beaches all nearby. Complete a circular route of the Roseland Peninsula passing St Anthony Head for panoramic views of St Mawes, Falmouth and the Carrick Roads.
For the nearest fishing village, head to Portscatho which was used for catching pilchard during the 18th and 19th centuries, and now plays host to a number of great restaurants, traditional pubs and art galleries. In Bohortha you will also find Bohurrow Farm Cottage a comfortable cottage for four.
