About Tri-A-Hanner

On the edge of the beach in Porthdinllaen, wake up to sea views in this cosy retreat.

This cosy one-bedroom nest is the ultimate beach retreat for a couple after sand, sea and (hopefully) sun. Sitting right on the edge of the beach of the pretty fishing village Porthdinllaen, you’ll be waking up to sounds of the waves and sights of sailing boats drifting along the ocean. With a bright and modern interior, Tri-A-Hanner has everything you need for a comfortable and homely stay.

Spend a day or two lazing on the secluded white sands just outside your door, listening to the chime of the fishermen as they bring in the daily catch. For walks along the Llyn Peninsula hop onto the Porthdinllaen walk which starts at the Morfa Nefyn car park.

For more challenging hikes and mountain scenery, head to Snowdonia. A 40 minute drive will lead you to the fringes of the National Park. Hike to Dinas Emrys, an Iron Age hill-fort and legendary birthplace to Wales' red dragon. Trek around the shores of Cwm Idwal's glaciated lake or tackle the mighty peek of Snowdon.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
