Close to the Norfolk coast, this stylishly converted old mill has beautiful vaulted ceilings you’ll love.

Located on the first floor of an old mill, Watermill Apartment boasts an atmospheric interior where high vaulted ceilings and a gallery room give a real sense of spaciousness. Finished with modern furnishings and a cosy log-burner in the open plan living area, the two-bedroom apartment is ideal for those after a stylish Norfolk stay close to the coast.

Sitting just across from the mill stream and weeping willow trees, with a small patch of grass alongside where you’ll be able to picnic. Its location on the coastal road between Wells and Brancaster means you’ll be within easy reach of the North Norfolk Heritage Coast. Drive just five minutes to Holkham beach for its white sand dunes and saltmarshes.

For the nearest shops and restaurants head to the trendy village of Burnham Market, just a 20-minute walk from here. The larger seaport town of Kings Lynn, with its mix of high street stores, museums and theatres, is a 45-minute drive to the south east.

Garden: There is a shared grassed area beside the mill stream.

Parking: Designated parking for one car and additional parking close to the apartment. 

Please note: The road and mill pool are very close to the cottage and so young children will need to be supervised. 

A staircase leads up to a galleried sitting room.

The road can be very busy during the summer season.

Watermill is part of an architecturally designed watermill conversion consisting of 7 apartments and as such may be occupied by other parties at the same time. Although the property is sound proofed, Watermill is not a stand alone single holiday cottage.

Occupancy: When six people occupy the flat, two will need to use the sofa bed.

Offers: Holiday cottage guests have free entry to selected local National Trust properties during their stay, listings can be found in the cottage welcome folder.

Late check out on Sunday’s 12.00 midday at this cottage.
