About West HouseIn a tiny hamlet between Polruan and Polperro, this cottage has an enclosed garden and sweeping views.
West House is situated in a traditional slate-hung farmhouse with adjoing holiday cottatge Old House. The cottage’s enclosed garden is the perfect place to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining, while inside the sitting room benefits from a cosy open fire.
Spend some time exploring Lansallos Barton, a tiny village has been recognised as a religious site for centuries and is named after the hermit St Salwys who lived there in the 9th century. Lan in fact means religious site. Lansallos Cove is just a short walk away, once the haunt of smugglers and wreckers, this impressive cove can be reached by following a secretive sunken lane.
Further afield, Pencarrow Head is an ideal place to take in some of the area’s spectacular views. It’s cared for by our rangers and with your stay at West House, we can continue to maintain this special stretch of land for you and others to enjoy.
