About Woody's Cottage
A traditional Cotswold stone cottage with an external summer room overlooking the Sheepscombe valley.Nestling in a small, secluded woodland village, just half a mile from Sheepscombe village is this traditional Cotswold stone cottage. It was built in the 19th-century for the owner of the nearby Ebworth estate, and displays much of its original character inside, including a large fireplace. Its highlight though is definitely the external summer room, which looks out over the Sheepscombe valley and catches the evening sun.
Explore the beautiful beech woodland that surrounds this cottage or walk less than 10 minutes into the village. It’s small and quiet but there’s a lovely country pub where you can sample locally produced food and a pint of real ale.
Woody’s Cottage is just four miles from the bustling town of Stroud. Enjoy exploring this historic town with its quirky shops and cafes and, if you’re lucky, you might catch its award winning farmers market.
