A variety of tasks at sites around CarmarthenshireThis is a holiday where any task is possible, from fitting new gates on our footpath network to path and step repair, we could be gardening for a day or cutting back gorse on our coastal paths and cliffs, Rhododendron bashing is also on the list along with tree planting, fencing or painting, we could even spend a day at the seaside litter picking, variety truly is the spice of life!
About the accommodation
Dinefwr Bunkhouse forms part of courtyards adjoining Newton House of the Dinefwr Park Estate. The combined living area and kitchen are homely and sociable, with large sofas and a wood-burning stove. Bedroom accommodation is in dormitories sleeping 3 to 9 and modern, newly refurbished shower rooms. There are fantastic views over the seventeenth-century deer park from the patio which is reached from doors off the living area and has wooden bench seating and a barbecue. The old kitchen for Newton House is situated below,now a bookshop, and the basecamp would once have been used for servants’ accommodation.
Facilities: garden, open fire/woodburner, washing machine, tumble dryer.
Bedding: all bedding/linen provided.

What to bring: good strong boots and gloves that fit plus waterproofs.
