About Scrub up for butterfliesOn the largest Iron Age hill fort in Sussex help improve the habitat for butterflies.
Join the Ranger at the largest Iron Age hill fort in Sussex with spectacular views, to help improve the habitat of the 28 species of butterfly found at Cissbury Ring. By removing scrub and old fence lines from the ramparts, you will also play an important part in preserving the remains of Neolithic flint mines.
About the accommodation
Slindon Bunkhouse is a converted stable block on the 1,400-hectare estate at Slindon between Arundel and Chichester. The estate is typical of the South Downs with rolling hills and farmland set against a background of woodland and hedges. In addition to that it has an ancient deer park and various archaeological sites. The bunkhouse has a recently refurbished kitchen and seating area with sofas.
Facilities: garden, open fire/woodburner, washing machine.
Bedding: Only mattress cover provided.

What to bring: Stout footwear, waterproof jacket and trousers, clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
