About Wasdale conservation
Join our rangers for work on the fells and the beautiful Wasdale Valley.Come and spend the week with us in the amazing Wasdale valley, home of England’s highest mountain, deepest lake and the wonderfully wooded Nether Wasdale property. You will be helping out the rangers with a variety of practical tasks which may include dry-stone walling, fencing, footpath repair, gate hanging along with scrub and woodland management. You’ll be staying in Wasdale on the shores of Wastwater, surrounded by some of the country’s highest and most dramatic mountains.
About the accommodation
The accommodation is spread over two floors consisting of a lounge/dining area with a log burner, a small kitchen and two areas consisting of five rooms. Outside you are 70 yards from the shore of Wastwater and there is plenty of outdoor and informal garden space. There is access to our boathouse and rowing boat less than a mile away.
