Town Head Barn is a converted barn, located in Upper Wharfedale in the small village of Buckden. The large property comfortably sleeps 14 guests and is comprised of a living room/dining room, well-equipped kitchen, two bunkrooms on the first floor and two bunkrooms and a shower room with WC on the ground floor. The bunkhouse is also equipped with a drying room and cycle store.
The ideal holiday spot for outdoor enthusiasts, keen walkers, cyclists and families alike, Town Head Barn is perfectly placed for exploring the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The more ambitious in the group might consider scaling the 702m high Buckden Pike, just around the corner from the property.

Entrance hall, 2x dormitories sleeping four (2x bunkbeds) and a shower room with WC.
Living/dining area with open fire, small but well equipped kitchen, bedroom with a bunk bed (with en-suite shower room) and a dormitory sleeping four people (2x bunkbeds and adjoining shower room).

Heating: Electric heating throughout and an open fire in the living room.
Bedding/linen: One pillow, pillow protector and mattress protector are provided per person. Please bring a sleeping bag/duvet/towels and pillow case for each person.
Parking: There are two parking spaces outside the front door but they are not dedicated to the bunkhouse. Further car parking is available in the National Park car park in the village which is pay and display.
Garden: The bunkhouse does not have its own garden, however there is a National Trust picnic area with a built in barbecue just 100m away.
Television & DVD: There is a DVD player built in to the television but no television reception.
Hazards: There are some low beams in the living room and the bunkhouse is near the road.
Is this bunkhouse for you? Our bunkhouses are perfect for guests who want to enjoy the outdoors and meet up with friends and family. We do not accept hen and stag groups at this bunkhouse.
There are neighbours nearby, so we respectfully ask that you keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.
