Join us for the Great British Beach Clean

We look after more than 775 miles of the British coastline, which is a haven for wildlife and a wonderful resource for everyone to enjoy. But the rubbish on our beaches can harm wildlife and look unsightly.

From 15 September through the autumn, we're teaming up with the Marine Conservation Society for The Great British Beach Clean. There are events at our places up and down the country where you can get involved. Here's a few to get you started.

The beach at East Head, bright and busy with visitors

East Head, Sussex

Join the East Head team to take part in UK's longest running beach clean and litter survey established by the Marine Conservation Society. We'll provide gloves, bags and litter pickers, but need your help to collect and survey what we find.
