It's free to enter the Below Stairs Café, right in the heart of York and next door to York Minster. Step into the recently refurbished servant spaces and sample the seasonal menu. Open daily until 5 November 2017.

The large restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating in plentiful supply. Freshly baked cakes and hearty lunches using the days harvest are popular choices including family friendly portions and children's lunch boxes.
