Are you wanting to return to running, or looking for a supportive group to help you meet your goals? Join our fun and friendly running group and enjoy community connection whilst improving your fitness and wellbeing.
Every Wednesday our non-competitive running club meet here in the beautiful surroundings of Wentworth Castle Gardens. Led by our qualified leaders, this group is suitable for all abilities, beginners included. Come every week, or just when you can, and you will gradually build up your fitness and confidence.
Of course there’s our Long Barn café for afterwards, if you’re motivated by the thought of a cuppa and cake (aren’t we all?)
If you are a National Trust member, the running club is free; for non-members, there is a reduced admission fee of £3.25 for participants.

- Meeting point
Meet outside the Long Barn café at 10.15am. The car park and welcome building open from 10am to allow enough time to park, check in and walk up to the café.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and suitable shoes.

Please note the gardens are on a hill and the parkland has varied and uneven surfaces. Please visit our Access page for more details.

While the running group meets most Wednesdays please do check event dates, and our website or social media for updates before you travel, particularly during extreme weathers.
