Social running group

Meet like-minded people, make new friends, and build up your fitness in the beautiful surroundings of Wentworth Castle Gardens.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Are you wanting to return to running, or looking for a supportive group to help you meet your goals? Join our fun and friendly running group and enjoy community connection whilst improving your fitness and wellbeing.

Every Wednesday our non-competitive running club meet here in the beautiful surroundings of Wentworth Castle Gardens. Led by our qualified leaders, this group is suitable for all abilities, beginners included. Come every week, or just when you can, and you will gradually build up your fitness and confidence.

Of course there’s our Long Barn café for afterwards, if you’re motivated by the thought of a cuppa and cake (aren’t we all?)

If you are a National Trust member, the running club is free; for non-members, there is a reduced admission fee of £3.25 for participants.
