National Trust NI supports Remember a Charity Week
In support of Remember a Charity Week, an annual awareness week designed to encourage more people to consider leaving a gift to a charity in their will, National Trust will be hosting a special information day at Castle Ward on Thursday 15 September
Did you know the National Trust is a registered charity completely independent of Government?
We look after some of Northern Ireland’s most beautiful and special places including: the Giant’s Causeway, our iconic World Heritage Site, Strangford Lough, our only Marine Conservation Zone and mansions such as Florence Court and Mount Stewart.
Our conservation promise is For Ever, For Everyone and the cost of caring for all the places in our care is expensive and continues to rise, so there’s never been a greater need for gifts in Wills.
Membership is invaluable, but only covers 1/3 of the costs to help care for everything, which is why gifts in wills are so important.
Remember a Charity Week is a national awareness campaign designed to encourage more people to consider incorporating a gift to charity when writing their will. The National Trust will be supporting the initiative by raising awareness of the campaign through events and information for our members and supporters.
We understand that friends and family must come first, but once they are provided for, please consider leaving the National Trust a gift, however small.
If you leave a legacy to the National Trust:
• 100% of your gift goes to where you intended it to go.
• You can choose how your gift will be spent – property or place.
