Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

Family fun on a Cadbury Egg Hunt

This event has been cancelled due to government advice on coronavirus.

The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt will be running from Friday 10 to Monday 13 April. Follow the trail around the garden, looking out for signs of spring and the dams project to complete your garden picture and garden creator Ralph Allen's vision. A Cadbury Easter treat will be your reward at the end. The garden will be carpeted with wild garlic and other spring flowers, so wander among glorious sights and smells as you follow the trail.

The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt will start from the Cabinet at the top of the garden. The route will go through parts of the garden, finishing back at the Cabinet.

You can start your Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt any time between 10am and 3.30pm. The route and activities should take around 30-40 minutes. The last finish time is 4.30pm.

How much?

£2.50 per trail. Cash only please at the Cabinet.

As you may be aware, Prior Park is a green tourism site and therefore doesn't have a general visitor car park. Unfortunately, we also do not have accessible, blue badge parking spaces during the restoration work on the dams this year. We encourage visitors to arrive by public transport or on foot.

The Tea Shed at the Cabinet will be open daily from 11am - 4pm, for cakes and drinks, snacks and ice creams, for when you need to take a few minutes to refresh and enjoy the views.

The route will take you around the garden, along steep paths, and up sets of steps. We can offer diversions for pushchairs to avoid the steps if need be. We do not advise wheelchair users to go along the steep slopes. If you would like to visit the event, and have wheelchair users in your group, please email us at, and we will try our best to make as much as possible accessible for you.
