In the North Gallery, to mark the Royal Academy’s 250th anniversary, Petworth House are highlighting ten works of painting and sculpture by founders and members of the Royal Academy such as Reynolds, Turner and Flaxman.
The gallery will host original artwork from the book The Lost Words. Taking the form of a collection of illustrated spells, the book celebrates the relationship between language and the living world, and nature’s power to spark the imagination.

Park Explorers is for 2-4 year olds and parents/carers to learn about the world around them. Sessions are £5 each and focus on a different outdoor theme each week. Arrive from 9:15 for the 10am session, and wait from 10:45 to be signed in for 11am.
