There will be an eerie halloween trail in October half term involving seeking out a collection of eight giant bats in trees around the garden. Find them all and you'll be able to create your own halloween picture and claim a prize.
This October half term there will be a trail around the parkland on the theme of bats. Young detectives will be able to pick up a sheet from outside Visitor Reception and search for clues to match different types of bats with their roosts.
This October half-term (Sat 23-Sun 31 Oct) we will be celebrating Allhallowtide, a time rich in autumn tales of mystery and magic. Join the search for the eerie hinky punks or pay your respects to the apple tree man and help gather in the harvest.
Join a family bushcraft session and learn how to light a fire, make a key chain or forage for wild foods. Booking in advance is not required, but you'll need to book on the day at Reception. Places are limited and cost £4 per person for each session.
