Visiting South Milton Sands: what you need to know

National Trust visitor information hut by the car park at South Milton Sands, South Devon

We're looking forward to welcoming you to South Milton Sands. Please be aware there is a small car park accessed by narrow country lanes. At busy holiday times the car park can quickly fill up.

Visiting at busy times

Please try to arrive early if you want to ensure a parking space. If the car park is full please leave and consider visiting another time, or find an alternative place to park. Do not park on the roadside as this causes problems for farm and emergency vehicles. There are nearby car parks in the area at Thurlestone and Hope Cove.

On arrival

To help keep everyone safe, please follow social distancing and government guidance when you arrive.

Please find a parking space. Our welcome team are usually in the car park and if you have any problems please ask them for assistance. Members park for free and will need to scan your membership card at one of the Scan and Pay machines and display the ticket on your dashboard. Otherwise the parking charge is £6, and you can either pay by card or by phone (more information onsite).
