A rare survival
Minstergate shares a special link with nearby Treasurer's House. It was rescued from demolition by the owner of Treasurer's House, Frank Green when Deangate was built in 1903. Frank rescued it with other buildings for their historical significance, the underpass beneath Minstergate having once provided the only access into the Minster Close.
