Tredegar House Photography Competition

Swans on the lake at Tredegar House

Do you think you can best capture Tredegar House in all its glory? Or are you harbouring a stack of shots from previous visits?

We’re looking for snap happy visitors to help us refresh the postcards sold in our onsite shop by sending in striking photographs of our glorious 17th-century mansion, gardens and surrounding parkland.

Whether it is a photograph of a particular piece of the collection, the iconic red brick exterior or nature nesting on the lake, we’re looking for images that reflect the unique and inspiring surrounds of Tredegar House.

Photos do not have to have been taken during the competition period; we are looking for images captured throughout the year.

The interpretation is entirely up to you but we have a few key points for you to bear in mind:

  • Images should be taken on the camera’s highest resolution setting and should be 6 x 4 inches in size at 300dpi or more.
  • Images must not be retouched or adjusted using Photoshop or any other image software.
  • Images must not feature people who could be identified.

Full terms and conditions can be found below.

To enter the competition, send your snaps to tredegar@nationaltrust.org.uk using the subject line Photography Competition. Please include your name, a contact telephone number and a short description of your submitted photo(s) in the body of the email.

Entries will close at 5pm on Wednesday 4 January.
