We will bring along a selection of Japanese patterns for inspiration. The class will begin with an introduction to the materials and background of Japanese Painting followed by a demonstration of the required painting techniques. Following the demonstration, the teacher will be at hand to provide onward guidance and assistance throughout the workshop.
This painting class has is suitable for beginners and has been designed for people aged between 11 and 16 years, don't worry if it's your first time, your teacher will be on hand to provide guidance and answer any questions. Our teacher Ula is a local artist with over 15 years of teaching experience. Ula has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art and a Masters in Visual Art.

What to bring: Comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little paint on & a carrying bag to take your artworks home.
- Accessibility
The Barn Rooms are a short walk from the main car park. There are a few parking spaces for blue badge holders near the Barn Rooms. Please note that this workshop takes place on the first floor of a historic barn, with no lift access.
