History of the Gardens Talk

Have you ever wondered how huge gardens like those here at Tatton Park came into existence?

  • Booking essential

Were they designed or did they evolve? This talk looks at the fascinating development of Tatton’s 50 acre formal garden from its inception at the beginning of the eighteenth century to the glorious gardens we see today; a legacy left to us by many generations of the Egerton family.

After the talk, take the opportunity to explore the gardens at your own pace and enjoy the stunning scenery. This event is intended for adult visitors. Your ticket fee includes a hot drink and cake to enjoy with the talk, as well as park and garden entry.
