Quiet Morning

A chance for sensitive and neuro divergent people to explore and appreciate this elaborate Tudor house at their own pace, without distractions.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

On the first Tuesday of each month you can experience Paycocke's with the sound turned down. No guided tours or noisy interruptions in the house and garden. The tea-room machines will not be running and we will offer a reduced selection of drinks and snacks.

This year, Paycocke's celebrates 100 years since the house was rescued from dereliction and given to the National Trust. Displays and an exhibition tell the stories of the people who lived and worked at Paycocke's and saved it for the nation.
